Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is an Action-Adventure and Single-player video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games for Multiple Platforms. The game acts as the sixth marvelous installment in the series of Grand Theft Auto video game and is also marked as the first title since the release of Grand Theft Auto III released in 2001. It takes place within the fictional Vice City, focused on Miami, and the story of the game revolves around the protagonist named Tommy Vercetti and his release from prison. After the protagonist is caught up in a drug deal, he sets out on an epic mission to find out those who are responsible while establishing a criminal empire and seizing from other organizations in the city. The game enables the player to move across the world from a third-person viewpoint, and the world is explored either on foot or by vehicle. However, the open world environment will let the player navigate the Vice City, comprising two main islands freely.
